Earthquake 2005 and
Our services
It
is the need of hour that the earthquake affected children should be taken out of
present shocking condition and make them lead an active life". This was
said by the President of SEW 'Abidah Farheen' while visiting affected
areas of NWFP. She was accompanied by another member of managing committee 'Tabbassum
Yasmeen'. Purpose of the visit was to collect first hand data so that
effective initiative is to be taken.
As a result of this short
visit, SEW with its meager resources took up the giant task to provide
the affected children with the healthy activities so that the children
come out of the deadly traumatic condition.

SEW therefore proved to be
the first NGO to setup its first school on 19th Oct 2005 at Bisham
Dist. Shangla. Nine camp schools have been set up uptil now and SEW is
visualizing the need for more camp schools in near future.
